Another great progress in Bing WMT.
I started (and continue) to prefer Bing WMT to Google WMT.
Google WMT are too faulty, it's annoying. Google's WMT
- present me at least weekly errors in crawling that are no errors at all,
- are not able to distinguish a 410 from a 404
- show me old URLs that have been removed one and half years ago and that are recorded in the htaccess with a Redirect Gone
- tell me a soft 404 for the robots.txt in three websites (I'm not kidding)
- show me statistics that are wrong and therefore not reliable
- etc. etc.
I highly recommend to use Bing Webmaster Tools - they are very useful.
